About Me
I got turned onto Oolong tea by a friend in 2008. She had seen an Oprah show where they talked about the weight loss benefits of Wulong tea. That perked my ears up. I never did see the episode, and don’t know anything that was really said or not said, but I began to research this on the Internet.
What I did find was something I had been looking for, for a long time. My father always drank a lot of iced tea, using the cheapest generic tea you could find. So, we all drank tea too. I then began drinking sugary drinks and lemonades. But, something happens when you hit your mid-30′s and older. Your kids begin to grow up and you realize that it’s time to grow up yourself. Many people begin turning to coffee, but I didn’t want that. So, I began brewing hot tea.
I initially found most of it a bit bitter, since the quality of the tea was low. Then, I began trying green teas, and other flavors, and began to find several I liked. Since coming across Oolong, I am 100% sold on this stuff, and would love some day to travel to Taiwan or Fiji and walk through the mountains, help pick, ferment, and dry my own tea. I cannot tell you how much better I feel. Now in my 40′s, I feel healthier now that I ever have as an adult… and having Ogranic Oolong tea is one of my primary habits to keep things that way.
